MACKIE, John Anthony – Surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London, John Mackie died on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 44. Beloved husband of Debbie. Loving father of Brandon and Bridget (Beau) and man's best friends, his four legged fur babies. Cherished son of the late Jack & Anna Marie Mackie. Dear son-in-law of Judy Fisher and Ric Campbell & his wife Louise. Also survived by his siblings; James, David, Robert, Nancy and Jacqueline Labord, sister-in-law Kelly Campbell, his best buddy Stephen Norton and many nieces & nephews. John’s passion was his family and his dogs, there was no better time spent than with them. He worked for many years as a truck driver but he loved to spend time working as a mechanic. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Friday, November 27th from 5 – 7 p.m. A Celebration of John’s life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following the visitation at 7 p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Sarnia & District Humane Society, 131 Exmouth St. Sarnia, N7T 7W8.
