MARCELLA, Carol Jayne– Surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health, Carol Marcella died on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the age of 78. Loving mother of Kelly Anne Cataford & her husband Curtis, Sarnia, Patrick Marcella & his wife Mary, Sarnia, Leslie Inkpen & her husband Duane, Sarnia and Timothy Marcella & his wife Valerie, Kingston. Cherished grandmother of Emily Potter (Greg), Jacob Cataford (Jill), Olivia Steinman (Trevor), Natalie Cataford (Mike), the late Madeleine Cataford, Daniel Marcella (Alyssa), Jessica Marcella (Craig), Abigail Inkpen, Molly Inkpen, Justin Inkpen (Brooke), Avery Marcella and Isla Marcella. Great-grandmother of Annie Potter, Juliet Potter, Eli Steinman and Noah Cataford. Loving sister of Judy Savoy and her children Bradley & Christopher. Also survived by her children’s father and life long friend Richard “Dick” Marcella. Predeceased by her parents Vida & William Holford and step-father Donat Laporte. Carol worked as an executive secretary for the Sarnia General Hospital for over 25 years. She loved to golf, ski, boat and enjoyed knitting & reading. Carol’s passion in life was her family, her best girlfriends and her cat Sasha. Spending time with them was most important in her life. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 6 – 8 p.m. . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
