Obituary of Andrzej Stefan Majewski

MAJEWSKI, Andrzej (Andy) Stefan - At Bluewater Health on Saturday, April 11, 2015, Andy Majewski died at the age of 68 . Beloved son of the late Stefan and Wanda Majewski. Loving brother of Ted and Bernie Majewski, Sarnia. Brother-in-law of Lee Brooks & her husband James, Sarnia. Cherished uncle of Stephen & his wife Jodi, Sarnia and Katherine (Kat) and her partner Sara Cross, Alberta. Special great-uncle of Emma & Danica Majewski. Andy was born in Hahn, Germany on January 26, 1947. Andy immigrated to Canada in 1949 along with his family. They moved from Kirkland Lake, then to Bluewater and eventually to Sarnia where his family has resided since. Andy was a kind and generous man and was always willing to help wherever he could. His love for his family was one of his many wonderful attributes. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Andy was employed as a Customs Officer for CBSA for 30 years until his retirement in 2005. While employed with CBSA Andy made many lifelong friends. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, Wednesday, April 15th , from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Eugeniusz Dziedzic at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16th at Queen of Peace Church. Cremation to follow. Interment at a later date.
