SANTAVY, CLAIRE – Suddenly at home on Friday, March 27, 2015 Claire Santavy (nee Kensley) passed at the age of 63. Loving mother of Bobbi-June Santavy & her husband Dan Minoletti, Melbourne, ON and Dalas-John Santavy & his wife Beckie Santavy, Plympton-Wyoming. Cherished grandmother of Boady Santavy, Kaden Minoletti, Noah Santavy, Kyra Minoletti, Alana Santavy, Bradyn Santavy and Bryce Speelman. Dear sister of Aileen Barnes, Anita (Phil) Davies, Doreen (Leonard) Paquette, Frances (Ray) Lapensee, Gary (Linda) Kensley and Linda (Michael) Ross. Lovingly remembered and forever missed by Bobbi-June’s and Dalas-John’s father, Bob Santavy. Also survived by her step-family; Denise (Harvey) Greer, Pauline Dougherty, Jacques (Sharon) Perron, and Mike (Linda) Perron. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bertram & Jeanne Kensley, sister Della St.Hilaire and brothers Cletus (Joyce), Clayton (Yvonne) and Claude (Janette) Kensley and step-father Gerard Perron. An infectious laugh and a zest for life, Claire’s favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and family. Her warm smile and her sincere heart touched so many. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Rosary will be offered at 3:30 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Mukucha at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
