Samantha Scimmi

I was born in Burlington, Ontario and moved to Sarnia in 1995 with my parents. My dad was born here and had also hoped to return. I attended high school at Northern Collegiate I. & V.S. and continued my post-secondary education here in Sarnia at Lambton College. In 2005 I graduated with my diploma in Business Administration - Human Resource Management. My education endeavors continue as I am working towards my Canadian Human Resources Professional designation through the Human Resource Professional Association of Ontario. I am also constantly learning new things about funeral service.

I have worked at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home as a part-time staff member since 1999, assisting with visitations and in the office. In January of 2007 I came on full-time as the Office Administrator. I enjoy the work that I do and helping families in their time of need. I look forward to learning and growing with the business. I hope to follow in my mother's footsteps in living the mission of McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home to care for the families we serve ″Before, During and After″ the death of a loved one.

In my spare time, I am an ″arm chair″ sports fan and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy volunteering with local organizations such as Junior Achievement and the Canadian Cancer Society.
