Velda Koote

Married for over 50 years to Len, we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren. We moved to Sarnia 6 years ago. This community has welcomed us and we love being here.

I have been working with McKenzie & Blundy for the past 3 years as a greeter. I feel truly blessed to be able to help families during a very difficult time in their lives. Having experienced the death of many family members including my parents, sister and a grandson, I find it most helpful in my own grief to be able to reach out to others.

I love being able to work along side my daughter Katherine and granddaughter Samantha as they continue the tradition of professionalism and compassion that McKenzie & Blundy has built for over 60 years.

I enjoy spending time with my own family, gardening and decorating.
