Celebrating Life

You are encouraged to celebrate the life of the person who has died by making the funeral or memorial service really reflect how that person lived! Anything from a simple display of photographs to a larger demonstration of the person's life can be very helpful in making the funeral or memorial service a meaningful experience.

Anything that you can think of that would be meaningful for you and your family can be accommodated. We live by the philosophy, “If it is mentionable by our families, it is manageable by our funeral home.”

Value of the Funeral

  • Acknowledges that a life has been lived
  • Allows mourners to remember and honour their loved one in a special way
  • Serves as a central gathering place for family and friends to give emotional and physical support to one another
  • Provides closure for the bereaved
  • Initiates the grieving process
  • Confirms the reality and finality of the death
  • Encourages mourners to face the pain of their loss and express their thoughts and feelings
  • Helps survivors to better cope with their grief and enables them to move forward with their lives
